3 Precedent #1 One of George Washington's many precedents would be that he supported innovative financial concepts, which would later be adopted, such as the Bank of America and a national debt.

5 Precedent #2 Another of George Washington’s precedents was a policy of neutrality associating to foreign wars. People followed this precedent until WWI.

7 Precedent #3 When George Washington took his oath he set a precedent by performing the oath outdoors and by adding the words “So help me God” to the end of the oath and by kissing the Bible.
