2. The meeting of The Estate General didn’t help Louis XVI with the economic crisis, high debt made by previous kings made life difficult.

3. Louis XVI didn’t want to give up any of the crown’s power or authority to help the commoners.

4. Frustrated, The Third Estate made itself the National Assembly of France in June 1787, with its primary goal being to create a new constitution for France. (CAUSE I CAN)

5. Louis XVI had The National Assembly locked out of their meeting hall. I’M BAT-MAN!!!!

6. The assembly moved to a nearby, indoor tennis court (I hate tennis) and made an oath not to disband until they had written a constitution for France.
