The Port of Houston is located 3 miles away and… 1.5 million jobs generated annually in the U.S., 785,000 in Texas 7,700 ships,150,000 barges call yearly $285 billion of annual economic activity in the U.S., $118 billion in Texas $16.2 billion in tax revenue nationwide, $3.7 billion in state & local tax revenue
