Training Outline Overview of Emergency Water Disruptions Keys to Mitigating Emergency Water Situations Overview of Complete Solution Specific Uses and Applications Operation of Equipment 2

Overview This solution has been utilized successfully in numerous deployments. This is a proven solution that works extremely well. This is the largest emergency water solution of it’s kind in use in hospitals and healthcare facilities in the United States This solution is incredibly flexible and versatile and will work in almost any water disruption event 3

Purpose of the System To produce potable water from any fresh water source To provide point-of-use, on-demand water purification to specific points of need To support mobile and fixed facility operations To expand water contingency planning beyond bottled water 4

Operational Conditions A water disruption event is any situation where the normal water distribution process has been impacted. This disruptions results in two conditions: – Water is available, still in water system and under pressure, but must be disinfected before use – Water system is completely down 5

The Operational Process Source Water Management Water Treatment Clean Water Distribution 6

Phase 1: Source Water Identifying Sources – Contaminated water still in system and under pressure – Water that has been captured and stored from the water system before complete water loss – Rehab Pools, Decorative Fountains, Swimming Pools – Fire Trucks, Construction Tankers. Contract water providers – Wells – Lakes, Rivers, Surface Water Always use the cleanest water source possible ! 7

Source Water Management Used to hold untreated water prior to purifying 300 or 3,000 gallon capacities Additional water can be stored in any watertight container 8 Product: The Supply Station TM

Phase 2: Water Treatment 9 Filtration: – Screen filter – 25/1 micron sediment filter – Carbon block – Zeonic (filtration to 0.2 microns) Purification: – Biological contaminates such as bacteria are neutralized by exposure to ultraviolet light – Optional Flex-Chlorinator if residual disinfectant is needed
