A balanced school calendar more evenly distributes the days students are currently attending school and the days they are on vacation across the year. It is not a Year-Round Calendar More “Balanced Calendar” Small changes that could result in a positive impact on student success.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We are seeking to have a conversation and an investigation about a possibility. We will do what is best for students based on our available resources and support.

All county districts must reach consensus on a calendar. Each Board has autonomy to make a decision. The districts would need at least a full year to plan for any change in the calendar.
