The Ninth and Tenth Commandment: Truth to remember: God is as concerned about our thoughts and desires as he is about our words and actions. Ninth Commandment You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. Tenth Commandment You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, workers, animals, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. Love for godly contentment

Christians will not want to: 1.Covet, that is, have a sinful desire for anything that is forbidden to us by God. 2. Sinfully try to get what belongs to others. 1 Kings 21:1-16 1 Timothy 6:9-10

Christians will want to: 1.Be content and thankful for what we have since we know God will give us whatever we need. 2.Desire and seek only what pleases God. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 Philippians 4:19 Matthew 6:33
