Established 2007; Ltd company, charitable status Aims: to reduce energy use in the village; ultimately making the village a zero-carbon, zero-waste community Trading subsidiary: Fintry Renewable Energy Enterprise (FREE) established 2004 FREE has secured ownership of a wind turbine (1 of 15 owned by local developers)

Paying for the turbine over 15 years Income: ◦ £50,000-£100,000 per annum while cost of turbine is being repaid ◦ Approx. £400,000 (gross)per annum thereafter Investing income in a project to insulate local homes ◦ 46% of homes have free cavity wall & roof insulation
