3. Question from Canada is “are emus very common in Australia? “ Emus are found in every state of Australia except Tasmania. Emus live mostly in New South Wales or Northern Territory. They live in various habitats from semi-arid plains to heathlands, coastal dunes and tropical woodland. They are not found in tropical rainforests. Be careful if you go near a wild emu, because they can still nip food from your pocket or try and nip a finger even though they are scared of humans.
