2 Pensar means “to think” It has a spelling change in the yo, tú, ella and ellos forms. Pensar Yo PiensoNosotrosPensamos TúTúPiensas Él Ella Ud. Piensa Ellos Ellas Uds. Piensan

3 Pensar can mean “to think” or “to plan” depending on its usage. Pensar + en = To think about. Pienso en mi hijo. I’m thinking about my son. Pensar = To think Estoy pensando. I’m thinking. Pensar + infinitive verb = To plan to Pienso remitir los documentos. I plan to forward the documents.

4 Chequear does mean “to check,” but it is borrowed from English Voy a chequear su archivo. I’ll check your file. The “proper” way to say to check is revisar. It also means “to audit.” El IRS va a revisar su declaración The IRS is going to check/audit your return.
