3 As Biblical Counselors we must be solidly grounded in God’s design for human sexuality as revealed in creation and taught throughout Scripture. Genesis 2:18-25 Matthew 19:3-6 1 Corinthians 7:1-40 Hebrews 13:4 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

4 As Biblical Counselors we must listen for and identify the presenting condition but not let it keep us from pursuing the condition of the heart. He is viewing pornography. She has been unfaithful. He is obsessed with sex. She has no interest in sex.

5 As Biblical Counselors we must listen for and identify the presenting condition but not let it keep us from pursuing the condition of the heart. My daughter is living with her boyfriend. My son is living with his girlfriend. I am having an affair. I cannot stop fantasizing about sex. My parents found out I am sexually active.
