They spend most of their free time together out of school and always sit together in class. Maryanne is a bright student who usually does well in all her subjects. Stacey prefers sports and is the captain of the basketball team, and Stephanie loves reading and art. Today is their final maths exam. Stacey and Stephanie ask Maryanne to help them out by cheating in the exam. Maryanne knows it is wrong to do so and if caught she will face severe consequences. What should Maryanne do? Should she cheat and help her friends out, or should she refuse to cheat?

The friend tells him he has had no food that day because there was nothing to eat at home. Toby wants to help his friend, but is not sure how as he had no money himself. As they are talking, Toby notices the shopkeeper leave the store and walk to the laneway to take out the rubbish. His friend beckons Toby to run in and grab some food for him. Toby knows stealing is wrong and if caught he would find himself in trouble with the law. What should Toby do? Should he steal to help his friend or not?

They became best friends and usually spent their spare time talking and playing soccer in the park. Peter’s father was the newly appointed mayor of the town. His mother was a lawyer. Nicolas’ father was a doctor in his homeland but was not practising medicine in Australia. He and his mother make some money cleaning houses for neighbours and friends. One day, Nicolas told Peter that his family came to Australia illegally and were living in hiding at his uncle’s house. He told Peter not to tell anyone because, if discovered, his family would be deported and they would have to go back to the homeland from which they escaped. What should Peter do? Should he stay silent or should he tell someone?
