Presents Compiled and Illustrated from The Scriptures & The Spirit of Prophecy May 2014 And This is Life Eternal And This is Life Eternal Part 7
2
In part 6 of this study, we asked the question, “Did Ellen G. White change her view from supporting The Scriptures in presenting The Spirit of Prophecy?” As GOD spoke by HIS Word--The Son of GOD, Who came to Moses, and he bore witness to the children of Israel of GOD’S Word, John bore witness of Jesus, Who is The Son of GOD. From the evidence of The Scriptures, Ellen G. White did not change her view of Christ Jesus--The Son of The LIVING GOD. The Word of GOD, Who is The Spirit--The Christ by Whom The Father created all things, He was sent to all of GOD’S prophets. The Word of GOD came unto John the Baptist, who was the last prophet of The Old Testament, before the coming of The Promised Prophet of GOD. John was sent, to prepare the way for The Holy One, Whom the prophecies foretold of His coming. And being the last prophet of The Old Testament, before Christ first coming, John was also the first prophet to declare and bear witness of The Son of GOD, Who is also The Son of Man.
3
When GOD by HIS Son--The Angel of HIS Presence, or HIS Spirit--The Word of GOD called upon Moses, to go to Egypt for Him, He by HIS Power made Moses to be, as a God unto Pharaoh, and his brother Aaron to be, as his prophet. As a prophet of Christ Jesus, John the Baptist bore witness to us of The Spirit--The Christ, Who came down from heaven and made His abode in the likeness of men--The Man Christ Jesus, to be also with men. And His disciple John wrote of Christ Jesus and said of Him… And when GOD brought HIS Son into the world, which is like Egypt, He--The Son of GOD became also The Son of Man, taking on the likeness of the flesh of men. He sent John the Baptist to be, as His prophet, to prepare the way before Himself, Who made His abode also in the likeness of flesh.
4
“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 17:1-3).
5
Notice that The Son of GOD came unto His own creation, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, Who partook of the likeness of flesh, to reach men, to them that believe on Him, He gave to them His Power to become the sons of God. Christ--The Word--The Spirit of GOD came unto His own, but His own, which were created in His Image, to reflect His Glory, they remained far from Him in their hearts, in their minds, and in their bodies. Like an open wound that would not heal, because of self interest, to remain wounded, far from each other, and from Him, they would not come to Him, to be made whole and to be healed from their sin by becoming one with Him. Their minds were far from Him, and they knew Him not. Christ came in His Glory to expel the darkness from the hearts of men, but they hid themselves from The Presence of His veiled Glory, even from Moses, who was becoming more like Him, Who was working GOD’S Will in him. And speaking of man, to whom The Word of GOD came, and dwelt among men, Paul said…

“Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (Hebrews 2:7-10).
7
“For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:11-15).

What was it that was not yet put under man, who was crown with glory and honor? What was it that was left? The Man, who was spoke The Word The Spirit of The Word The Spirit of Paul--the mouth of The Word of The LORD, of Paul--the mouth of The Word of The LORD, of The LORD GOD Through Paul, The Word of The LORD revealed the glory and honor that GOD gave to man in creation, to reflect HIS Image. by - crown with glory and honor - made a little lower than the angels - set over the works of GOD’S Hands All things-(the earth) were in subjection under man’s feet Nothing was left not put under man But not yet all things put under man

With The Spirit of Christ Jesus being one with Paul, to sanctify him by His Spirit in him… The Man--Jesus was spoke The Word The Spirit of The Word The Spirit of Paul--the mouth of The Word of The LORD said of… Paul--the mouth of The Word of The LORD said of… The LORD GOD What was it that was not yet put under man, whom GOD created to have dominion over all the earth? by - for the suffering of death - made a little lower than the angels - crown with glory and honor - by grace to taste death for every man - death became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, - in bringing many sons unto glory - to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings - For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one - he is not ashamed to call them brethren
10
Through Paul, it is revealed that Christ, Who is Divine in nature, He would also partake of flesh and blood, to taste death for every man, that in death, He might destroy the power of the devil. Ellen G. White wrote and said… The Man--Jesus Christ spoke The Word The Spirit of The Word The Spirit of him--the mouth of The Word of The LORD to say… him--the mouth of The Word of The LORD to say… The LORD GOD Paul testified of The Man--Christ Jesus, Who spoke… by - Says, I will declare THY name unto My brethren - in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto THEE - And again, I will put My trust in HIM - And again, Behold I and the children which GOD hath given Me - As the children are partakers of flesh and blood - He also Himself likewise took part of the same - that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil - And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
11
“Jesus Christ laid off His royal robe, His kingly crown, and clothed His divinity with humanity, in order to become a substitute and surety for humanity, that dying in humanity He might by his death destroy him who had the power of death. He could not have done this as God, but by coming as man Christ could die. By death He overcame death. The death of Christ bore to the death him who had the power of death, and opened the gates of the tomb for all who receive Him as their personal Saviour. (Lift Him Up, Page 345)

John preached to them to repent from sin, to work the works of righteousness, rather than the works of selfishness for self interest. Jesus came unto him, and John… John the Baptist worked to prepare the way for Jesus--The Christ. As John baptized men with water, Jesus would baptize men with His Own Spirit veiled, not in a cloud this time, but in a body of flesh made for Him to dwell in among His Own creation. GOD Sent HIS Word to Reveal HIS Will Sent HIS Word to Reveal HIS Will The Promise The Words of GOD To the Jewish people of John, who preached through
13
“…forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:14- 17).
14
The Word--The Spirit of The LORD spoke by Isaiah, who testified of His Spirit in the flesh and said, “And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm…” (Isaiah 30:30). The Word The Spirit and Arm of The LORD in The Flesh of His Hand The Word The Spirit and Arm of The LORD in The Flesh of His Hand Isaiah testified of Him and said…
15
“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not” (Isaiah 53:1-3).
16
This is MY Beloved Son in Whom I AM well pleased. Jesus--The Christ, Who is The Spirit of The LORD God--The Word of GOD in the flesh among men; He--The Word of GOD is The Promised Seed, Who gave the promise of His coming to Adam, even unto Moses. He veiled Himself in The Flesh, as The Man--Christ Jesus, and came and dwelt with His Own creation. GOD said To His Own creation Sent HIS Word to Reveal HIS Will Sent HIS Word to Reveal HIS Will In His Divinity In His Divinity The Word of GOD Christ Jesus One with GOD One with GOD In His Humanity The Man One with man One with man In His prayer to The Father, Jesus said, “…this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). Are we receiving Him to become sons of God by His Spirit abiding in us? Jesus said…
17
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]” (John 14:12-14).
18
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee” (John 17:4-7).
19
“For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them” (John 17:8-10).
20
This is MY beloved Son in Whom I AM well pleased. As Christ--The Word of GOD, Who is The Spirit of The LORD God, Who came and dwelt in the flesh of Moses, and the seventy elders, and He give Moses Power to become a son of God unto Pharaoh, then all, who will believe and receive Him, to them He can give Power to become sons and daughters of God, and say. GOD said To His Own creation Sent HIS Word to Restore men to GOD Sent HIS Word to Restore men to GOD The Word Divinity The Word Divinity a son of GOD by The Spirit One with GOD One with GOD If Christ Jesus is our Example in all things, and He was baptized with water by John, and by His Own Spirit, Who comes from The Father, and is given to all, who will receive Him, then the message given to Christ Jesus by The Father at His baptism, is a message from The Father to all the members of those, who have joined together, to become one with and in Christ Jesus. For it is said… Life in humanity Moses One with men One with men
21
“Many had come to him [John] to receive the baptism of repentance, confessing their sins.... Christ came not confessing His own sins, but guilt was imputed to Him as the sinner's substitute. He came not to repent on His own account, but in behalf of the sinner.... Christ honored the ordinance of baptism by submitting to this rite. In this act He identified Himself with His people as their representative and head. As their substitute He takes upon Him their sins, numbering Himself with the transgressors, taking the steps the sinner is required to take, and doing the work the sinner must do.... After Christ rose up from the water.... He walked out to the bank of Jordan and bowed in the attitude of prayer.... As the believer's example, His sinless humanity supplicated support and strength from His heavenly Father, as He was about to commence His public labor as the Messiah.... Never before had angels listened to such a prayer as Christ offered at His baptism, and they were solicitous to be the bearers of the message from the Father to His Son. But, no! Direct from the Father issues the light of His glory.”
22
“The heavens were opened and beams of glory rested upon the Son of God and assumed the form of a dove, in appearance like burnished gold. The dovelike form was emblematical of the meekness and gentleness of Christ.... From the opening heavens came these words: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."... Notwithstanding the Son of God was clothed with humanity, yet Jehovah, with His own voice, assures Him of His sonship with the Eternal. In this manifestation to His Son, God accepts humanity as exalted through the excellence of His beloved Son. Christ's prayer on the banks of the Jordan includes everyone who will believe in Him. The promise that you are accepted in the Beloved comes to you. God said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."... Christ has cleaved the way for you to the throne of the infinite God.” (That I Might Know Him, Page 31)
23
Notice that Jesus has revealed that He has given to men The words that His Father has given unto Him. He says that the works that He does, those who believe on Him, they will do also, because He does His works in and through those, who receive Him. Christ Jesus, has given His glory to The Father, WHO sent Him, to accomplish HIS Will in manifesting HIS NAME to all, who will believe on Him. Jesus said… As He spoke through the prophets and His disciples, who received Him, and they went in His Power, by faith doing the work that He does of The Father by His Spirit in them, then He will accomplish The Will of The Father through all, who believe The Words of The Father, WHO works by our faith in Him, Whom HE has sent.
24
“Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak” (John 12:44-49).
25
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me” (John 13:20). “He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward” (Matthew 10:40-42).
26
“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 17:1-3). John, who received Him to be sanctified, as One with Him, Who is of HIM, WHO sent Him, he--John testified of Him and said…
