CT SCAN CT works well for imaging bone structures. it's inexpensive, fast and convenient the skull in the region of the brainstem,, leading to a picture that is very difficult or even impossible to interpret CT can be more comfortable for patients who are claustrophobic. contributing to a cancer. contain iodine. This can cause allergic to iodine MRI surgical clips, metallic fragments, cardiac monitors or pacemakers cannot receive an MRI An MRI can take about 45 minutes to complete, whereas a CT scan may only take 5 to 10 minutes. MRI uses a magnetic field to do the same and has no known side effects related to radiation exposure. MRI has much higher detail for soft tissue structures. MRI offers the ability to change the imaging plane without moving the patient. Seyed Kazem Malakouti, MD

CT SCAN INTRA CRANIAL HEMMOREHAGE ? equally detecting acute hemorrhage and problems in bone, such as fractures. to quickly rule out a serious problem, such as an intracranial hemorrhage. CT scan is good at detecting acute hemorrhage diagnose a muscle or look for tumors, a fracture or a blood clot CT allows accurate detection of calcification and metal foreign bodies MRI Acute stroke (hemorrhagic or ischemic) MRI is best at detecting small or subtle lesions, such as multiple sclerosis plaques, acoustic neuromas, or low-grade astrocytomas Chronic hemorrhage metal in their bodies that could be moved around or heated up by the powerful magnetic force DNA damage associated with MRI, "remains unknown" Seyed Kazem Malakouti, MD

CT displays the inner auditory canals and is superior at visualization of the mastoid air cells. CT shows organ tear and organ injury quickly and efficiently. Spinal cord is best seen by MRI for the same reason Seyed Kazem Malakouti, MD
