LEGISLATION Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989 -Provides the power to set down the requirements in the: Motor Vehicle Standards Regulations 1989 and for Minister to make Determinations

REGULATIONS PROVIDE THE DETAILS RELATING TO: Specialist and Enthusiast Vehicle Scheme (SEVS) The Register RAW Approval and Renewal Conditions of Approval Fees to be paid Importation

DETERMINATIONS Approval to Place Used Import Plates -Evidence Guidelines -Revised Determinations with Minister for approval -Will be available on website when approved

DETERMINATIONS Registered Automotive Workshops - Fit and Proper Persons Guidelines Minister may consider when deciding whether key personnel which includes directors, workshop manager, VIC signatory, shareholders able to influence the management - are fit and proper persons

DETERMINATIONS Placement of Used Import Plates (UIPs -procedures and arrangements re placement of UIPs Used Import Vehicle Report -information to be contained on VIC Procedures and Inspecting and Testing Used Imported Vehicles -test requirements, initial inspection, final inspection and records to be kept
