Lot 15D WestHolman and Scott + Creates retail space along Scott Street. + Utilizes Scott Street for garage access + Reduces traffic on Cullen Boulevard. + Maximum Community Development Potential - Distance from campus center 2. Lot 15D EastHolman and Cullen + Closer to campus - Increases traffic on Cullen. 3. Lot 13ACougar Place Drive and Cullen + Within academic core. - Reduces future academic construction sites - Increased traffic at Cougar Place and Cullen. 4. Lot 16C/F Cullen and Elgin + Close proximity to Moores School of Music - Increases congestion at the intersection of Cullen and Elgin 5. Lot 18A North of Law Building +Easy access from Spur 5 - Poor proximity to academic buildings. - Reduces campus expansion to the North. 6. ‘Y’ Building siteEast of College of Engineering Building + Replaces ‘Y’ building with more aesthetic structure. - Prevents expansion of School of Business, Engineering or Law School. 7. 5 Recommendation To satisfy the FY2005 projected parking deficit of 1,282 spaces, Walker’s recommendation is to construct a $28,600,000 / 1,700 space garage consisting of approx. 570,000 SF with 48,000 SF dedicated to retail space. First recommended garage site is Holman and Scott. Second recommended garage site is Lot 1A. WALKER PARKING CONSULTANTS

6 Proposed Parking Rates Currently, parking rates are scheduled to increase by a rate of 2% per year. In order to build the recommended parking garage, all parking rates would increase by a rate of 4% per year. WALKER PARKING CONSULTANTS
