2 What is Neighborhood Preservation (NPP)? The Neighborhood Preservation Program is a 3-5 year award with the potential of receiving $525,000 from the NJ Department of Community Affairs to Point Pleasant Beach The Neighborhood Preservation Program is a 3-5 year award with the potential of receiving $525,000 from the NJ Department of Community Affairs to Point Pleasant Beach Per the award contract, “PPB shall develop and implement a Neighborhood Preservation Program along Broadway, between Route 35 and Ocean Avenue, and Ocean Avenue, between Broadway and Niblick Street. 3 NPP Issues As part of the NPP, residents living along the corridor are asked their issues and concerns. As part of the NPP, residents living along the corridor are asked their issues and concerns. 7 What do we propose? First year plan Installing a new welcome sign on the island that is on the north (left) as you make a right turn onto Broadway. 18 NJ 2007 Median Income Limits If your family falls within these limits and you own a home in the corridor, you are eligible for additional aid.
