What is it? Established as part of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 local authorities leading the coordination of health and wellbeing through high-level ‘Health and Wellbeing Boards’ Key responsibilities include: –Producing a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment –Developing and publishing a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy –Improving local population health and reducing health inequalities –Integrating health, social care and public health
