3. Conservation and protection of the Environment are some of our major concerns. We have done numerous cleanups on the Hokendauqua and Indian Creeks plus other streams in our area. A stream restoration on the Hokendauqua Creek near the Northampton Borough Water Co. was a major project. We are looking into other projects for the future. 12. Our Chapter got involved with Project Healing Waters in 2008. It took a while to get off the ground. We had our first outing with the Veterans in May of 2009. Another in September of 2009. We would like to get some involved in an ongoing Fly Tying Class. More fishing outings will be planned in the future.
