What are the two subject pronouns used to form “commands” in the imperative? TU (informal) VOUS (formal/plural)

Let’s start out easy… REGULAR “IR” and “RE” VERBS

Take the regular present tense forms of tu and vous to make a command! “IR” Verbs (tu) (vous) FINIS! FINISSEZ! CHOISIS! CHOISISSEZ! “RE” Verbs (tu) (vous) ATTENDS! ATTENDEZ! VENDS! VENDEZ!

And now for those pesky “ER” verbs

SPECIAL RULE: when giving a command in the “tu” form, you… DROP THE (tu) (vous) Mange! Mangez! Danse! Dansez! Chante! Chantez!
