Important Chinese Foods There are many delicious Chinese foods, but some are more important than others. These foods are called main Chinese food staples. Main Chinese food staples are food used in most Chinese food. Some staples are rice, noodles, soybeans, wheat, vegetables, herbs, and seasonings. Some delicacies are soup, Chinese pickles, Chinese sausages, and tofu. Delicacies are a lot of Chinese foods together

Rice Rice is a very good and tasty grain. People in China boil rice to cook it. A lot of people in China like rice. A Chinese person can eat about 300 to 400 pounds of rice a year. It takes 5,000 liters of water to make 1 kilogram of rice. Rice is a good food to take off spicy on your tongue. Rice is the most important grain in China.

Dumplings Dumplings are one the most liked Chinese foods. Dumplings can be cooked by boiling, steaming, frying, or baking. Some dumplings can be toped with cinnamon, sesame oil, scallions, and chili peppers. Most of the time dumplings have fillings but some times the filling is in the skin.

Noodles Noodles have different types of food that go with it. It can have spinach, chicken, and sauces. Noodles are made out of dough and if it was made the people flatten the dough then stretch it out to make it stringy. Noodles are made in China. Noodles in China are sometimes cold.

Chinese tea (part 1) You must be wondering what Chinese tea has to do with Chinese food. Many Chinese/Asian people drink Chinese tea with Dim Sum, Wontons, and dumplings. You can grow tea leaves in a Tea house, and tea restaurant.

Chinese tea (part 2) Some Chinese teas are white tea, green tea, black tea, and dragon well tea. Chinese tea was made about 5,000 years ago.
