Speed of Motion Control of speed of movement seen on screen Rates calculated in fps FAST MOTION: comedy, grab attention or accelerate pace SLOW MOTION: more fps--- slower the action appears - suggest that the action takes place in a dream or fantasy to convey enormous power, high drama, moment of spectacle
