Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority (exousia-the right to rule) has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
2
Luke 10:19 Jesus said, “Behold, I give you the authority (exousian) to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power (dunamin) of the enemy...”
3
Acts 1:8 Jesus said to the apostles, “But you shall receive power (dunamin—spiritual strength) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end (uttermost parts) of the earth.”
4
Revelation 2:26-28 Jesus said, “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power (authority—exousian) over the nations—He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessel—as I also have received from My Father: and I will give him the morning star.”

John 4:34; 9:4; 19:30 “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work” (4:34). Jesus “ate” and “drank” the Father’s task of reaching the lost. “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day...” (9:4). The work also involved a healing ministry. “It is finished” (19:30). The work ultimately culminated in His sacrificial, once-for-all death on the cross.

Hebrews 1:3 Referring to the Son, the writer of the epistle states: “who, being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high...”

Revelation 21:23; 22:5 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

John 15:16; 2 Timothy 2:2 Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” Paul wrote: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

Ephesians 4:1-3 Paul: “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

John 13:18 Jesus said, “I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.’” Jesus quoted from Psalm 41:9, a text in which David referred to Ahithophel, his trusted counselor who betrayed him. Judas was the fulfillment of that type.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Romans 12:2 Paul wrote: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Ryrie: “Do not live according to the style or manner of this present age.” Do not let the world squeeze you into its mold, but be metamorphosed...

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.”
17
Matthew 26:39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
