2 Clinical Proficiency and Skill Development I. Risk Management and Injury Prevention ACIDate A. Reviews personal safety considerations, including hazards specific to specific activity and venue. COMPLETE DURING 1 ST 2 WEEKS. IA Detail: Identify 2 things you will do to keep yourself safe at your venue. B. Develops a 6-week, pre-season strength and conditioning program for the team sport of ____________ [insert sport and target age group here]. [AT 355, HS 342, AT 431] CRCR I.B Detail. List components included. Describe progression of one of the components. C. Using the above (IB) strength and conditioning program, demonstrate the ability to instruct an individual in the execution of 5 of the exercises. [Note: This is an excellent opportunity to use the educational TAs. Sophomores make good models.] [AT 355, AT 431, HS 342] CRCR IC Detail. List the exercises:

B. Develops a 6-week, pre-season strength and conditioning program for the team sport of high school (15-18 y/o) soccer players [insert sport and target age group here]. [AT 355, HS 342, AT 431] CRCR LV 11/1/05 I.B Detail. List components included. Describe progression of one of the components. Components: flexibility, agility, high-intensity speed, power and so on… Agility progression: Week 1 – carioca, 5 x 20 yds; Week 2 – carioica w/ shot on goal finale; and so on… C. Using the above (IB) strength and conditioning program, demonstrate the ability to instruct an individual in the execution of 5 of the exercises.
