This man is killing his neighbors for their land!” Giles Act III – Pg. 214 Jacobs being blamed for being witch shows that they care nothing about his life, but of his land. Causing this simple accession to lead to someone else getting his land.

7 The Crucible – Slippery Slope Example “Courage man, Courage-let her witness your good example that she may come to God herself.” Danforth Act IV – Pg. 237 Danforth is saying how something is as simple as Proctor confessing would lead to something as huge as Rebecca Nurse coming to God.
