2 CSUN PRIDE CENTER BACKGROUND Started as a student lead initiative to create support services and a space for GLBT students ▫Activism and advocacy formed in 2010 after the large number of publicized GLBT suicides (Tyler Clementi, Raymond Chase, Seth Walsh, Billy Lucas…) November 21, 2012: ▫The University Student Union Board of Directors approved to operate and fund the Pride Center to support GLBT students.

3 PRIDE CENTER GRAND OPENING Doors opened: August 27, 2012 Grand Opening Celebration: September 27, 2012
