2 Video Introduction Most of us have seen the movie “A Christmas Story” and can relate to parts of it. In this video segment, we see what happens to Flick when he succumbs to the power of a dare.

4 Discussion Why did Flick stick his tongue on the pole? Did he know what would happen? What makes a dare so tempting and powerful? Why does a crowd influence our actions more than an individual? Are some dares more dangerous than others?
