3 2.0 minimum unweighted grade point average 24 credits  4 – English  4 – Math (MUST include Alg. I & Geometry)  3 – Social Studies (World History, Am. History, Am. Gov’t, Economics)  3 – Science (MUST include Biology)  1 - HOPE  1 – Fine/Performing Arts (some Practical/Vocational Arts credits fulfill this requirement)  8 – Electives  1 Course must be taken online  Meet ALL testing requirements High School Diploma Graduation 24 Credit Requirements

6 Scholar Diploma Designation In addition to meeting the 24 credit standard high school diploma requirements, a student must: *Earn 1 credit in Alg II & Pass the Alg II EOC *Earn 1 credit in Statistics or an equally rigorous math course *Pass the Biology I EOC *Earn credit in Chemistry or Physics *Earn credit in a course equally rigorous to Chemistry or Physics *Pass the US History EOC *Earn 2 credits in the same World/Foreign Language *Earn at least 1 credit in an AP, IB, AICE or Dual Enrollment course. *A student is exempt from the Biology I or US History assessment if the student is enrolled in an AP, IB or AICE Biology I or US History course and the student takes the AP, IB or AICE assessment AND earns the minimum score to earn college credit. 7 Merit Diploma Designation In addition to meeting the 24 credit standard high school diploma requirements, a student must: *Attain one or more industry certifications from the established list. Mt. Dora High School offers: Culinary Arts Digital Design Drafting Agriculture Science Health Science High School Diploma Designations

8 LSSC DUAL ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS  11 th Grade  3.0 or higher Unweighted GPA  Passing test scores in 3 sections: Reading, Writing & Math (Combining different sections is permitted)  PERT READING 106+  PERT WRITING 103+  PERT MATH 114+  ACT READING 19+  ACT WRITING 17+  ACT MATH19+  SAT READING 440+ (COVERS WRITING SCORE AS WELL)  SAT MATH 440+  Gr 10 FCAT 2.0 262+ (Covers Reading & Writing)
