4 Beginning Sophomore Requirements Core ClassesNon-Core Classes English I Algebra Biology World Studies P.E. I or ROTC I Music or Art Computer Readiness 7 credits earned to be in good standing 5 credits minimal for sophomore status 4 credits or less classifies you as a demote

5 Sophomore Year Completion Requirements 7 Sophomore Credits Earned 7 Freshman Credits Earned 14 Credits Earned if in Good Standing

6 Attendance Students are to attend school everyday that classes are in session and be on time. Your attendance greatly affects your grades! Good Attendance = Good Grades

10 PLAN Exam All sophomores take this exam It’s a good indicator of your probable ACT scoring ability (the ACT Exam is a graduation requirement) Testing will be at the end of September

11 Discipline All students are governed by the CPS Uniform Discipline Code. Student Code of Conduct booklets will be distributed at a later date.

12 DRESS CODE Royal blue polo shirts Khaki colored pants Black, brown, or white shoes Present cleanliness, and neatness at all times Uniforms must be worn each day.
