EDUCAUSE 2001 Mission - To build a tradition of excellence in technology mediated teaching and learning for the NC State academic community, whether at a distance or on campus. Goal - An integrated academic model for NC State, where the student body is a continuum spanning traditional to non-traditional, where these students may participate in learning on campus or off, and where technology is as natural for the faculty as chalk. EDUCAUSE 2001 NC State DE Current Status and Trends 5,838 enrollments (17,541 credit hours) delivered in 2000-01 99% enrollment growth over the 3-year period since legislative funding DE currently represents only 3% of NC State’s base state support, but will generate 12.5% of new state support dollars in 2001-02
