3 How does Pinpoint Work? Then – schedules were modified and then an update had to be run locally to update grade books Now – updates are made automatically overnight

4 Logging into Pinpoint Then – had to be at school, plugged into network with cable, not available on all computers Now – Log into your GCPS Portal Account, click on link, from anywhere with internet connection

11 Changing Class Names Many different offices will be using your “class names” to search for students for a variety of reasons. If we all rename our classes using the same naming convention. Period-CourseName-Teacher Last Name 01-Alg-Salo

20 Entering Grades Scores save AUTOMATICALLY You’ll see a yellow color and then grade is saved Any score “outside the range” will have max next to it Letter grade appears next to score FILL DOWN SCORES Shift + 8
