Two ways to find an article Abstract first Find an abstract in New Testament Abstracts first, then track down the full text of the article Article first Find an article first using ATLA Religion database, then track down the abstract in New Testament Abstracts.

New Testament Abstracts is located with the bound journals on the library’s 2 nd floor. Journals are arranged alphabetically by title.

Issues of New Testament Abstracts are arranged chronologically.

Issues organized thematically. Articles abstracted in NTA are at least six months old.

Abstracts are numbered Citations help you locate the full text of the article. Author Article title Journal title Publication date Abstract gives a brief summary of the article, so you can decide if you want to read and review it.

Use Snowden Super Search to locate the full text article. Type the article title in quotation marks into the Snowden Super Search box.

Verify author, journal, and publication information. You will find either a link to the full text of the article, or a Check for Lycoming Access link.

Download article to save, email, or print a copy. Menu appears when you hover with the mouse.

Author index can help you find an abstract for a particular article. Begin searching issues of NTA published at least six months after your article.

Scripture index can help you find articles dealing with a particular passage.
