The Florida Virtual Campus shall be: ◦ FCLA, CCLA, FDLC, FCAAS – July 1 Implement a streamlined automated, online admissions app for transient students. ◦ Defined as undergraduates, currently enrolled and pursing a degree at a public postsecondary education institution and who enroll in a course offered by a public postsecondary education institution that is not the student’s degree-granting institution.

All Florida colleges and universities must: ◦ Use the transient app, through the statewide computer-assisted student advising system (now with FVC). This is the only app you can require. Implement the financial aid procedures Transfer credit awarded by the transient institution to the degree-granting institution. By December 1, 2012, provide for an interface (pass through) to electronically send and receive and process the app.

1.Send an email to the FACTS Help Desk ( factshelp@admin.usf.edu ) indicating you are ready to start coding the TSAA pass through. Include the IP and Port for the admissions listener that will receive the TSAA request.factshelp@admin.usf.edu 2.FACTS will copy your TSAA workflow from production to our test region ( http://test.facts.org ) and set up your institution for pass through.http://test.facts.org 3.Code and test the pass through. The FACTS Help desk will set up some sample TSAA forms that you can resubmit continuously through the TSAA administrator screen. This will make testing and debugging the pass through code easier. 4.When you are finished coding and testing, send an email to the FACTS Help Desk indicating that you are ready to move to production and the date you would like to go to production. FACTS moves institutions to production on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 5.Don’t forget to coordinate the production move with your Admission staff!
