Differences in Lexis/WL Search language LexisNexis & Westlaw Features Compared Lexis assumes a phrase, Westlaw assumes "or". statute of limitations Lexis, looks for the phrase Westlaw will look for: statute or of or limitations. Must put in quotes, "statute of limitations“ on Westlaw
