4 Formation of the Loxton Playground Working Group The main aim of the Working Group is to develop, plan and construct a new play area for the township of Loxton that incorporates the needs of the families and community members of Loxton. (There are at least 1000 children aged 4 – 12 in the Loxton area.) It could also offer visitors to the town an insight into Loxton and become a draw-card for tourists and people considering holidaying in our area.

5 Location The location we believe to be best suited to our needs is to the rear of the ‘Pioneer Rose Garden’ between Loxton Preschool, CWA, RSL, Santa’s Workshop shed and Woodleigh.

6 Need a Google map of the area here

7 Proposed Theme: ‘Pioneer Park’. The site has the existing Pioneer Rose Garden We have defined ‘Pioneer’ as a continuation of the Loxton Historical Village themes including river and early farming and irrigation activities.
