Grammar: Relative Clauses ( 關係子句 ) Dave works for a company. It makes computers. Dave works for a company that makes computers.

Grammar: Relative Clauses ( 關係子句 ) People I’m talking to a guy who/that lives in California. Things He works for a company which/that makes computers. Who, which, and that are relative pronouns. Who is for people, which is for things, that is for either people or things. They are the subject of the relative clause and refer to the noun that precedes ( 處於.. 前 )them.

Grammar: Relative Clauses ( 關係子句 ) We can use relative clauses to identify, define, or classify a thing or a person. The relative clause follows the noun. I like girls who are interested in music. I work in a store which sells video games.

Grammar: Relative Clauses ( 關係子句 ) The verb in the relative clause agrees with the noun that the relative pronoun refers to. I know a guy who speaks several languages. I know some people who speak several languages.
