Postures In America, the stander is usually superior to the sitter in position, age, or status. However, the situation is just the opposite in China. The seniors usually assume a sitting posture and are in a dominant position.

LEGS AND FEET *In Asia, do not point with your toes. *Sitting cross-legged, while common in North America and some European countries, is very impolite in other parts of the world.

Tips for improving Body Language: SOFTEN Build a close relationship with the guests within 5 seconds. S=Smile 微笑 O=Open Body Language 开放式肢体语言 F=Forward Lean 身子前倾 T=Tidy 整洁 E=Eye contact 眼神接触 N=Nod 点头 五秒钟内和客人拉近距离。
