Deconstructing the “Look” Style: Conservative; Tailored – Suits (jackets with slacks or tailored skirts of a decent length) – Blouses are collared or jewel-neck – Shoes are low heeled, closed-toe Colors: – Suits are solid or subtle patterns in dark or neutral shades – Blouses add color and interest Accessories: Conservative – Earrings not big or dangly; necklaces usually rest on the collar bone – Hair & Make-up: Simple; conservative styles with natural colors. Hair is usuallyshort or styled away from the face – but bangs are common to soften the look – Nails: Clean, trimmed, neutral or no color

Deconstructing the “Look” Style: Conservative – Tailored Suits (jackets with slacks; shirt & tie) – Shirts are starched, well pressed, and buttoned at the neck – Ties are generally conservative and work with the shirt to create an accent – Dress shoes blend with or are darker than pants Colors: – Suits are solid or subtle patterns in dark or neutral shades – Shirts provide color contrast to jacket & slacks and coordinate with tie Accessories: – Ties: solid or small patterns and stripes are common. Shades of red and blue are standard “power" colors – Socks: Should not be noticeable – should create a harmonious transition from slacks to shoes – Hair/Nails: Well groomed - neat and clean. Hair should be styled away from the face
