THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE EDDP 5-year program (Butler Major and Engineering Major) The EDDP is a 5-year program with an integrated curriculum (Butler Major and Engineering Major) notNOT Students do not transfer mid-program, it is NOT a 3-2 program Students are enrolled at both universities for the duration of the program Most engineering courses are taught at Butler for the first three years of the program with courses taken at both campuses (a five-mile commute) during the last two years TWO Results in TWO degrees: one from Butler University and one from Purdue University okay It is okay to be undecided on a major at the start of the program (for ~2 to 3 semesters) Two Degrees – Two Schools – One Program

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE EDDP at least one Internships are an important part of the educational experience, and at least one internship is required EDDP provides a diverse educational experiences leading to a wide range of careers opportunities with a highly successful placement rate for graduates three Students have access to three career centers 1. Butler, 2. IUPUI, & 3. Purdue @ West Lafayette Students in the program have multiple advisors: an EDDP advisor, a Butler Major advisor, and an IUPUI Engineering advisor Individual advising occurs at least once per semester Two Degrees – Two Schools – One Program
