4 Kinds of Sentences and the end mark flow

The 5 parts of a sentence! Notice that every sentence begins with a capital letter. End with some type of punctuation (end) mark. Each sentence has: a subject, verb, & expresses a complete thought.

Declarative Sentences
Makes a statement It is labeled with a D. Ex. I walked my dog yesterday. Flow: (period, statement, declarative sentence)

Imperative Sentence Gives a command It is labeled with a Imp.
Ex. Close the door Flow: (period, command, imperative sentence)

Exclamatory Sentence Expresses strong feelings
It is labeled with an E. Ex. The field is on fire! Flow: exclamation point, strong feeling (sf), exclamatory sentence.

Interrogative Sentence
Asks a question. It is labeled with an Int. Ex. Do you live here? Flow: question mark, question, interrogative sentence.
