Cinerama Dome Inside the 72 foot-high dome, the Cinerama is a circular auditorium featuring a huge, curving screen, seating for almost 1,000, somewhat spartan decor, an upstairs balcony, plush comfortable seats, and one of the best sound systems extant.

El Capitan Step into Hollywood's glittering past at the legendary El Capitan Theater, which made its debut on May 3, 1926, as "Hollywood's First Home of Spoken Drama." This grand theater has been restored to its original elegance, boasting a Spanish Colonial exterior and a colorful and lavish East Indian interior designed by San Francisco architect G. Albert Lansburgh.

In 1998, the original IMAX theater at Exposition Park closed, but they opened a brand new IMAX theater as part of the new California Science Center. It's a spectacular new setting, with the entrance to the theater via a courtyard with features a a fog-fountain and a cascade of golden balls suspended from a purple skylight overhead.
