DoD Pest Management MoMs currently track pest management plans, pesticide use and certification but do not address Air Force operational and mission reqmts. AF Pest Management Scorecard was developed to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats: Integrated Pest Management Information System (IPMIS) version 3.06 is used to uniformly gather data for each base; Five mission categories: Public Health, Mission Critical, Mission Support, Environmental, and Quality of Life; Pesticide toxicity and pesticide use can be easily quantified MAJCOMs can detail how each base plans for recurring pest management requirements, utilize and track sound IPM methods (both chemical and non- chemical), and maintain pesticide certification for Air Force/contract employees. New/unique pest management issues can be highlighted and process improve- ments developed; Manpower, contracts and resources can be allocated to support Air Force missions.
