What is a Facility Study? 11 ● Objective analysis of present conditions and capabilities of Raymond School building and site ● Comprehensive assessment ̶Site and building data: site and building size, building capacity and space utilization ̶Building exterior: roof, walls, windows, doors ̶Infrastructure systems assessment: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and safety ̶Americans with Disabilities Act compliance (ADA)

Raymond Facility Study 12 ● Key Findings: ̶Aging building and major systems are inefficient and costly to maintain, some have failed ̶Temporary portable classrooms and inflexible space to support instruction and teaching models for students and staff ̶Inadequate multi-purpose space (e.g., gym, cafeteria and/or performance space) for student and community use ̶Lack of secure main entry and controlled access to building for community use
