Reliable Performance & Innovative Features for Dependable Results High performance – 1 - 5000 cc/min flow range Constant Flow & Constant Pressure Integral flow control Temperature and pressure compensation Data logging for sampling events – USB interface option for transferring program and sample data Easy-to-read LCD display confirms setup parameters Automatic fault recovery attempts restart if sample tubing becomes crimped or blocked (selectable) Lockable keypad Ergonomic design – Lightweight, comfortable, compact
4
Air Sampling Control Modes Constant Flow Control maintains the flow rate within +/- 5% of set flow. Constant Pressure Control (Multiflow) mode allows split flows GilAir Plus allows both control modes in both high flow and low flow without using external modules.

Single sample at single flow rate between 450 and 5000 cc/min. Single sample at single flow rate between 20 and 450 cc/min. Single or multiple simultaneous samples at different flow rates up to 450cc/min. Single or multiple simultaneous samples at different flow rates between 450 - 5000cc/min. Size selection media and membrane filter cassettes Single sorbent tubes and gas sampling bags Multiple simultaneous sorbent tubes Multiple Simultaneous filter cassettes and sorbent tubes Total dust, respirable dust, fumes, mists and aerosols Solvent vapors and gases Particulate fumes, mists and aerosols Heavy metals, lead, asbestos, lithium, oil mist, and phosphorus Numerous gases and vapors and hydrocarbons Heavy metals, lead, asbestos, lithium, oil mist, and phosphorus QuadMode SM Air Sampling Unique to GilAir Plus
6
Simultaneous High and Low Flow Sampling Methods Capitalizes on the unique high-flow constant pressure capabilities available only from GilAir Plus Reduces air sampling time and costs while increasing worker comfort Available in Top Access or Bottom Access versions – Both versions are compatible with cassettes and/or sorbent tubes
7
Dual Port High/Low Flow Manifold Left: Bottom Access Model shown with Sorbent Tube Holder and Filter Cassette Right: Top Access Model shown with two Filter Cassettes
8
Using the Dual Port Manifold Example Applications – Two Filter Cassettes NIOSH 7400 for Asbestos and NIOSH 7300 for Heavy Metals – Filter Cassette and Sorbent Tube NIOSH 7082 for Lead and NIOSH 1501 for Benzene
9
Setting up the Dual Port High/Low Flow Manifold 1. Connect sampling media to each port of the manifold and connect the manifold to the inlet of the GilAir Plus pump using 1/4” ID tubing 2. Set the GilAir Plus to operate in constant pressure mode high-flow mode (CPH) 3. Using a qualified air flow calibrator measure the flow rate at each port through the sampling media 4. Remove the valve cap and adjust the flow rate to the required flow for each port through the needle valve 5. Connect the Dual Port High/Low Flow Manifold to the worker’s lapel in the breathing zone and begin the same.
10
Low Flow Sampling for Multiple Gases or Vapors Sorbent tubes are used when sampling vapors or gases Charcoal tubes placed inside of the sorbent tube holder absorb the target substance In Constant Pressure Flow Control mode multiple sorbent tubes can be used simultaneously
