Period 3 Reflection What is AVID? Avid is a program to help students receive good grades, stay organized, and apply to good colleges Motivation Family Dreams AVID keeps you organized and prepares you for college Advancement Via Individual Determination Helps get to a university, stay organized, have good grades, help with other classes What have you gotten out of AVID? Organization skills Friends Better grades and support Kept grades up, a lot of work, friends, organized Organization Responsibility Information about colleges Better prepared person Good experience What do you hope to get out of AVID? To get more involved To become more responsible Good grades, to get ahead, good experiences Accepted into a good college View a variety of colleges
