Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur DOAA Office Upon entering a valid login/password the screen for Add-Drop will be displayed There are two option for this operation: A.Use Add/Drop Course Manager B.Underload/Overload (take Permission from SUGC, forms are available in UG office) Note: If you are not planning to drop or add any of the courses in Current semester please DO NOT try to use this software because once you start to use this software, it will lock your Pre-registration data and what ever data you will submit to DUGC through this module, after acceptance of DUGC it will be updated in your current semester Registration Data. Please submit your online registration form to the DUGC even if you have already gotten acceptance from Course Instructors.

6. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur DOAA Office Your Add and Drop request is still pending with the Instructor Incharge. Added Courses Instructor should accept you in the course And Dropped Course Instructor should accept you to drop the course Status should be Accepted for both only then you can Submit the form To DUGC of your department. You have applied to drop this course You have applied to Add this course in place of DROP course

7. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur DOAA Office This pop menu will come when any of the Course Instructor Accepts your course as Add or Drop but another Instructor Rejects your request. In this case, system will ask you to replace your rejected course with the new Course which you have taken at the time of Pre-Registration.

8. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur DOAA Office When Add and Drop course requests are accepted by both the Instructor’s A button (submit to DUGC) is enabled. If you do not want to drop any other course you can submit your request to DUGC.

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur DOAA Office Select the courses from Block B and select if it is a Repeat or Substitute, Add to Registration Form You can delete existing courses in Block A and reselect from Block-B Click the Submit Form Button only when all the required courses have moved to Block A All the Courses displayed in Block A will be submitted to DUGC. In case any course is left in Block B it CANNOT be added later List of courses Choose the type of course Block-A Block-B
