4. Plants live in Desert In desert there are plants such as: Cactuses, Grasses, Shrubs, River Gums, Yuca, Bewer Tail Cactuses, PaloVadea, Barel Cates.

5. Desert Animals In the desert there are many animals such as:scorpions,jack rabbits,tortoises,side winders,turkey vultures,elf owls, kit foxes, camels & geckos.

6. Camels In the desert there are lots of camels. Camels have a hump which helps them keep water. Its hump stores fat for energy. A camel’s nostrils close to keep out sand & dust. A camel’s feet are large and wide.

8. Geckos A gecko’s eyes are covered by a thin membrane to protect them. A gecko’s skin is covered in dry hard scales. A gecko’s tail breaks off when a predator grabs it. A gecko hastiny hairs that grab smmoth surfaces.

9. Calfs A calf doesn’t have any humps. It is only born with a little lump. It stores only fat.The calf is getting fat with mother’s milk. A camel and a calf are only fat at their hump.
