2. DESERT A DESERT is a habitat. The desert is very dry.
A desert gets a lot of sunlight.

3. DESERT The desert gets very little rain.
Deserts are very hot during the day.
Deserts are cold at night.

4. Desert
Some animals wait until evening or night to come out of their shelters because of the hot temperature during the day.
Some others come out during day but have particular ways to move under the hot sun, like the “sand vipers” (snakes). They move by making a “S” on the sand. These swift movements allow it to move while barely touching the hot sand.

Swift “S” movements allow the Sand Viper move during the hot day in the desert.

The SAHARA DESERT is the largest desert in the world.

Answer:
Camels store water in their humps.
