What is DEQ doing with results?
12
Possibilities Include... Results will be communicated to all SNR agencies and other Secretariats Agencies will be encouraged to incorporate results into their long-range planning and processes Non-governmental groups and individuals will be encouraged to Continue to communicate with state government Take appropriate actions in their spheres of influence Participate in cooperative public/private efforts Assist state agencies, VMI, and others in continuing dialogue
13
Possibilities do not include...... a formal “plan” in the traditional sense – one that would find its place on our bookshelves & never be implemented.
14
Instead... We are encouraging all parties to work with us in focusing on common priorities for the future, understanding that each person, agency, and organization can contribute to effective resolution of priorities, in ways that they deem suitable for their individual roles, responsibilities, needs, and resources.
15
We cannot address a future we have not first envisioned.
16
Thank you for helping us envision that future
