LGU Capacity Development for investment promotion (LEIPO, LIIC), LGU business planning, streamlined transactional services, LED information, etc. STAG-LG Workforce Development Program Description of the Circuit Tourist Markets/Visitor Arrivals Supply of Tourism Enterprises, Facilities, and Employment Enabling Environment for LED and Tourism PRIORITY PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS BATCH 3 TOURISM CIRCUIT MAPS & PRIORITIES LGSP-LED LOCAL WORKPLANS TA and training for Investment Promotion TA and training for Product Development Training for Workforce Development TA for Destination Marketing TA and training for LGU policies and programs to support the tourism sector (e.g. statistics) The Tourism Circuit Development Plan vis a vis Other LED-related Plans The Tourism Circuit Development Plan is intended to guide both the LGUs and their private sector partners on the key actions needed to build a more competitive tourism industry around an area’s priority circuit. From this Plan, the Batch 3 LGUs will identify specific recommendations related to investment promotion, tourism product development, destination marketing, workforce development, or LED-enabling policies/programs where they can maximize LGSP-LED’s support in terms of technical assistance and training. These will then make up the Implementation Plan for their respective LGSP-LED Local Projects. Recommendations beyond the scope of LGSP-LED, particularly infrastructure development, will be endorsed to the appropriate national government agencies through the local Economic Transformation Teams (ETT). DILG will coordinate an action plan for convergence to guide the local Economic Transformation Team (ETT) in delivering harmonized NGA and donor agency support for the Batch 3 Local Projects. The Tourism Circuit Development Plan also provides the basis for the Provincial Government to develop its LGU Business Plan for generating investments and jobs in the cluster of LGUs that make up the Tourism Development Area. Municipal Tourism Development Plans, based on the larger Circuit Development Plan, can then be prepared to guide individual LGUs and their private sector partners on tourism and LED opportunities in their particular municipalies or cities.
