In Sonata TM, start with the layout of the system. Import a drawing in just about any format and start putting components on it.
2
Start with a plan view drawing (Use any one of 26 graphic formats)
3
Then start adding inputs, outputs, switches, controls, output zones, etc.
4
Once they’re all there, connect them up to the mixer...
5
In just a few minutes, with a little thought made easier by the graphic layout, you’ll have the whole system physically laid out and ready for the next step.
7
Sonata TM uses Modes, Associations, and Routing to define the logic of a system.
8
Modes: Focus is on an individual input or output, and determines how many different modes that input or output can be in. Switch settings describe that mode.
9
Modes Tab
10
Associations: Attach each mode to every input or output that can be in that mode. Can also assign priorities to modes.
11
Associations Tab
12
Routing: A routing table is created for each mode. Full cross-point delay and level is available for each table.

14
All that’s left is to set the event triggers (switches, controls, etc.) And then you’ve completed the initial design of the system.
15
All of the controls, switches, gizmos, etc., are there for you to use. Here are a few...
16
Various level controls (And more coming)

Comp-limiter
21
Shelving...
22
And cut filters
23
Signal generators and much more
24
This is just a brief overview. But the point is that designing a system is intuitive & much faster. AND, there are some additional very important advantages….
25
You can run offline
26
Open a Door...
27
And another...
28
Turn on another zone...
29
...and debug on the fly
30
The run screen offers a great sales tool to use with customers
31
Show them how their system will actually work, fine tune it with them.
